Class Projects Update

Well hello there and how are you doing during this second lockdown?

I hope you are keeping well and busy and have maybe started you Christmas knitting early like someone I know? (Not me for sure!! I'm still playing catch up with my UFO's.)

In case you need inspiration I wanted to show you some of the finished projects we worked on in the fall:

Zelda's Cowboy Cowl knit in KFI Indulgence Cashmere

Campout Mittens knit in Millefiori by Berocco

Kim's Slouchy T knit in Caron Cakes, colour Lime Twist

Knit in 3DogKnits Worsted

Beau likes it too!!!

an upcoming class, knit in various worsted yarns

Zelda's Purl Strings knit in Ella Rae Sunkissed, a Summer 2020 class

It's so cozy, you'll want to wrap yourself in it, curl up on the couch and watch a happy movie.

A Christmas gift: The Slipped Rib Hat; from a kit bought at The Purple Sock in Coldwater

Sandy's Afternoon in Lisbon Mosaic Wrap

knit in Painted Sky and Berocco Alpaca

knit in Knit Picks Chroma; also a Winter 2021 class project

A Warm Welcome Baby Cardigan knit in Cotton Joy by Needful; it was one of those "it's so cute I have to knit it" patterns.

Pat is knitting her Purl Strings; out of Zara, great stitch definition!

Maize Mitts, an upcoming class, knit in leftover Cascade Superwash Wave from Liz's Nightshift Shawl.;

Don't throw out your leftover yarn!!!!

Yes, I have a right and a left mitten!

Marilyn knit this gorgeous Harmony wrap for her future daughter in law for Christmas in two shades of Manos Alegria

knit in Songbird Fibres Worsted, colour: Gouldain Finch, also an upcoming class. If you have never seen Vicki's yarn you should check out her website:

Jane knit this sweater out of yarns left over from her two cabled cardigans (the blog post about inserting a zipper), Cascade Eco Wool

Zelda's second Slouchy T in Caron Cake Cotton, colour: Hydrangea

Off the Rails Hat knit in Knit Picks Croma and Cascade Superwash Worsted for Wilson

A whole flock of Lumber Jack And Jill Hats for my kids in Thamesville. Knit in Estelle and Diamond Worsted

Liz's Silver Bridge Pocket shawl knit in Estelle Chunky. We made a whole bunch of them with kits from The Muskoka Yarn Connection.

Sonia's Silver Bridge Pocket shawl knit in Estelle Chunky. Beau always needs to do the quality control

A shawl I just made up out of hand spun yarn I bought at Kempenfest a few years ago. The yarn had letter beads woven into it and I thought it would be a great gift for a teacher. I combined it with Zealana Kauri Worsted in dark green and Snugglepuff by Knit Picks in cream.

Kim's Silver Bridge Pocket shawl knit in Estelle Chunky.

Liz's Black Light Cowl knit in Chroma Worsted

Another Silver Bridge Pocket shawl knit in Estelle Chunky.

A Quick pair of chunky socks for my hygienist (yes, Linda is fabulous!) knit out of Mille Collori

A couple of "Messy Hair, Don't Care" hats, Christmas gifts for Sam,

Both were knit out of Diamond Luxury Pure Superwash Wool held double

Mom's Christmas Socks, knit from Lungauer Sockenwolle, "Weihnachtsedition 2019"; and yes, they are Mrs. McClenny approved!!!

Sue L knit this gorgeous Teroldego shawl for me for Christmas!!!

Variegated yarn: Drops Fabel, solid: Allegria

Until next time,

I hope you enjoyed looking at the colourful pictures and maybe you got inspired to cast on something new.

Stay well and keep those needles and hooks moving!

Happy and Productive knitting
